The experience begins over 300 meters above the ground with "Air" by Kenzo Digital : in addition to incredible views of the city, you'll enter a surreal space, almost worthy of a Doctor Strange film, with perception-altering mirrored surfaces and interactive environments made of suspended, reflective spheres. And finally, you'll become part of the work itself: your face will melt into a cloud, within an evocative, infinite celestial landscape projected onto a giant screen. The next stop requires a bit of daring. With Levitation , you can ascend to transparent balconies suspended 1,050 feet above Madison Avenue . What is there to know?
Please note:
- The entrance is located in the main concourse of Grand Central Terminal , below street level.
- Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your chosen time.
- Present your SUMMIT One Vanderbilt ticket on your smartphone at the entrance.
- All SUMMIT tickets are timed. SUMMIT is operating at full capacity. You may not be able to enter if you arrive more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket (you may be asked to wait until the next available open time).
- Any late arrivals will be accommodated based on availability and a rescheduling fee.
- Children up to 5 years old enter free, no ticket is required.
Attention:
- There are transparent and mirrored floors all around you, we recommend pants, shorts or tights
- Wear comfortable shoes; stiletto heels, steel-toed boots, athletic cleats, and other footwear that may damage the mirrored floor are not permitted.
- If the visit takes place during the day, wear sunglasses, the environment can be very bright.
- You cannot bring food or drinks from outside the skyscraper, smoking (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited, as are bulky packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind beyond security checks.
- The first restrooms are available only when you reach the first floor, approximately 15 minutes after the start of the visit.
- Strollers are welcome at the SUMMIT, but must be folded to access the elevators and escalators.
- There is no space to leave personal items; no bulky bags/backpacks or luggage.
