What is there to know?

Access to the Cathedral is permitted only if you are wearing appropriate clothing: entry with shorts, bare shoulders, sandals, hats and sunglasses is prohibited.
It is mandatory to show up at the meeting point at the indicated check-in time. In case of delay it will not be possible to participate in the visit, nor to obtain a refund or reschedule the guided tour.
It is mandatory to arrive 30 minutes early at the meeting point because, before the visit, after receiving the entrance ticket, it is mandatory to deposit all the objects foreseen by the Regulations and the following types at the cloakroom (Piazza Duomo, 38/r) of bags and:
Backpacks of any size or size and any bag intended to be worn on the back; Bags, suitcases, parcels, bags and containers in general that exceed the dimensions of 35cm x 30cm x 15cm:

Once you enter the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, a treasure chest of priceless artistic treasures, you will immediately be struck by the elegance of the spaces of the three naves. Led by your expert guide you will enjoy the beauty of the splendid marble choir by Bandinelli, the complex of precious stained glass windows crafted by Donatello, Ghiberti and Andrea del Castagno and the singular and mysterious clock by Paolo Uccello. You will also be surprised to be able to walk on a wonderful carpet of polychrome marbles. Then, looking up, the immense and precious interior of the Dome entirely frescoed by Vasari will appear. Brunelleschi's famous Dome is the largest ever built in masonry and an unrivaled icon of Renaissance architecture.
