Cini Foundation, Borges Labyrinth, and Vatican Chapels

Join a 2.5-hour tour of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore that will show you its three main attractions: the Giorgio Cini Foundation, the Borges Labyrinth and the Vatican Chapels. The Theatre was built starting in 1952 and designed by architects Luigi Vietti and Angelo Scattolin. Admire the amphitheatre with steps in white Vicenza stone interspersed with boxwood backs. The construction of this theatre was a huge undertaking, requiring 640 working days and 166 workers working every day! The construction of the grandiose stage, which covers an area of 1,400 square metres, was very difficult. The orchestra pit could accommodate up to 150 artists.
