The Aquarium is the world's leading marine and leisure centre on the Mediterranean theme, a collection of 35 aquariums, 11,000 specimens of 450 different species and an 80-metre underwater tunnel. There is also a huge Oceanarium, unique in Europe, with incredible species ranging from sea bream to oceanside fish, from rays to moray eels, and two types of shark. All this makes the Aquarium of Barcelona a special attraction that has already been visited by more than 14 million people.

Other attractions include the coral reef, a unique architectural creation of spectacular beauty. You will be directed to the entrance of the mini-aquarium, where you will get close to the fascinating world of seahorses and other small sea creatures, such as eagle rays and anemones. In Planeta Aqua you can see how species adapt to different climatic conditions, such as the funny penguins swimming in the water.
